Privacy Policy for Speak!

This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Speak! (“the App”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you use it. By using the App you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Summary

• Speak! is a photo editor. Your photos are edited on your device and saved to your device’s gallery.
• We do not run our own accounts and we do not upload your photos to our servers.
• The App shows ads via Google AdMob, which may collect certain device and usage data.
• An optional paid subscription (to remove ads) is processed by Google Play Billing.

2. Information We Access or Process

a) Photos and media

To work, the App needs access to photos and media on your device so you can pick an image to edit and save your finished image back to your gallery. Photo editing happens locally on your device. We do not collect, store, or transmit your photos to us.

b) Advertising data (Google AdMob)

We use Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial ads. To serve and measure ads, Google and its partners may collect and process information such as your advertising identifier (e.g. Google Advertising ID), approximate or device-level data, IP address, device type and operating system version, and interactions with ads. This data is handled under Google’s policies. See Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads).

c) Purchases and subscriptions

If you buy the optional ad-free subscription, the purchase is processed by Google Play Billing (and a subscription management provider such as RevenueCat). We receive your subscription status (active/expired) so the App can remove ads, but we do not receive or store your full payment details. Payment information is handled by Google. d) Diagnostic / contact information

If you contact us by email from inside the App, your email pre-fills basic, non-personal technical details (App name, App version, device model, OS version) to help us support you. Sending the email is entirely your choice, and we only receive what you choose to send.

3. How We Use Information

• To provide core features (editing and saving images).
• To display and measure advertising (via Google AdMob).
• To provide and validate the optional ad-free subscription.
• To respond to support requests you send us.

4. Sharing of Information

We do not sell your personal information. Information may be processed by the third-party service providers that power the App’s features, namely:

• Google AdMob / Google LLC — advertising.
• Google Play Billing and, where applicable, RevenueCat, Inc. — subscription processing and validation.

These providers process data according to their own privacy policies.

5. Data Retention

We do not maintain our own servers storing your personal data. Edited images remain on your device under your control. Data processed by Google or RevenueCat is retained according to their respective policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can address it.

7. Your Choices and Rights

• You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization in your device settings.
• You can revoke the App’s photo/media permission in your device settings (some features will stop working).
• You can cancel your subscription anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions.
• Depending on your region, you may have rights to access or delete data held by our service providers — contact us and we will help where we can.

8. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
